Chang'e
Cold Moon Princess
Overview
The Magus Clan is a failed experiment of the Gods, once working alongside the native species of the continent, the Magus. The north is harsh, requiring endless labor for the Day Tower to shine, illuminating the upside-down city with its brilliant light. In this first energy base, Magus possess immense brute force, handling excavation, mining, and transportation; while Magus people engage in intricate manufacturing and sculpting. The God, from a planet deeply rooted in civilization, understands that sculpting and energy collection are equally vital. Without grand art, no one would tirelessly dedicate themselves to a cause. High radiation and pollution left many Magus fallen at the feet of the Gods' sculptures, never causing riots, an indication of this art's power. The Magus Clan harnessed their exceptional talents, transforming this art, resulting in strange expressions on the God's sculptures. Even the most primitive beings, gazing upon these sculptures, felt deceived, though the God was indeed smiling. The Magus developed an innate hatred for these sculptures, becoming less docile. When a priest reported "jokes circulating among the Magus," the God's eyes lit up. Of course, it wasn't out of joy for the Magus. Jokes are boundaries between in-group members, a code to reject outsiders. The wise God personally visited the Day Tower, escorted by priests, touring the place. Perhaps he was overanxious; there were only minor disturbances from foolish people, while intelligent individuals continued working, and issues would soon be resolved. He left without finding anything, then turned back, re-examining the sculptures. He instructed the priests to target not the Magus but those quietly doing menial tasks. For a young girl, she couldn't fathom how this related to her fourteenth birthday. Fire raged through villages, arrows filled the sky, leaving no living thing untouched, not her rabbit, not her companions. She ran towards them, but her father carried her away. Ten days later, the last fugitives were captured, their clothes tattered and wounds bleeding, dragged up to the Day Tower for execution, their silver hair dimly glowing in the night. She heard arrowshots slicing through wind and snow, one by one taking the priest, her father, and mother, in a semi-conscious state. The subsequent events took an unexpected turn. An arrow striking a jade pendant around her neck caused a small explosion, vanishing the last girl to be executed. The strongest archer was immediately arrested for his mishap. At the same time, moonlight filtered underwater, awakening a nearly dead body. Over these months, as the daughter of the tribe's leader and the whole tribe's princess, the benchmark for "the cutest child under the sky" since childhood, the heir to the power illuminated by moonlight, all these highly anticipated images crumbled with her growing sensitivity, stubbornness, and resistance. When she realized people began to dislike her, she turned away from them. However, this massacre ended all ties between her and them. Should she blame herself? As that sliver of light passed over her eyelids, she returned to the family garden for the last time, escaping the night ritual. Surprisingly, her father did not scold her. He said: "We are a very powerful race in the path of magic; once considered weak, producers of useless items, and expected to be redundant after disappointment, but we ultimately surprised everyone. Because we will never lose ourselves. My daughter, you will also be an abbreviation of this race. If you survive the war, all I ask is that you remain true to yourself, for keeping yourself is keeping this race alive." She felt her tears, yet could not touch them; they merged with the cold water light, then a surge of moonlight flooded over her like an uncontrollable giant energy, and she opened her eyes.Although she didn't know what was to come, she was determined to grasp the jade pendant that was receding. A brilliant light erupted from behind the Tower of the Sun. The witnesses were awestruck, unaware that this was a letter from the Moon to the Sun, a gentle resistance against strength, a sign of balance in the world.

Augur's Word can provide enough sustain for Chang'e during the early to mid-game, while Ardent Dominion's passive ability gives Chang'e, when positioned at the front line of the team, a crucial moment to catch her breath and avoid being killed instantly.
The Moon Goddess's massive release of mana can easily deal high area damage. If teammates can hold the front line and provide output, she can choose to go all-in with her full skill build.
